Elmar Grof

Elmar Grof (born May 27, 1969 in Hagen ) is a former German basketball player .

career

Grof played from 1987 to 1991 for Goldstar Hagen (later renamed Brandt Hagen) in the basketball league . Then the 2.03 meter tall indoor player was  on the field for TuS Iserlohn , with whom he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga in 1992 . In the mid and late 1990s, Grof played for the second division team TV Salzkotten . Between 2002 and 2004, Grof was part of the second division bid of TuS Iserlohn and then played under the basketball club Boele-Kabel .

His son Jonas  also started a competitive basketball career.

National team

In 1988 Grof competed with the German national junior team at the European Championship in Yugoslavia and scored 5.4 points per use during the tournament.
