Individual evidence

  1. "Elmar Mayer-Baldasseroni has written the most insulting, vile, obscene and linguistically powerful novel in living memory! ... A monstrous, a shameless masterpiece of the blackest humor. Nothing below that, a pure maddened madness and a book of the year. Incidentally, there was reason to fear that the author was a thoroughly reactionary, compulsive, degenerate and vain asshole. And: about a genius. ” Fritz Ostermayer , artistic director of the school for poetry on ORF radio station FM4 , quoted in the author's blog
  2. “Imagine that Thomas Bernhard, Werner Schwab and Elfriede Jelinek had fathered a child in a kind of ménage à trois des evil (...) The child of the three language giants is of course Elmar Mayer-Baldasseroni and his brilliant first, a linguistically powerful one , wildly raging, vicious reckoning with an unrequited love, clearly the logical result of that dark encounter between said domestic literary popes.
