Nioun Chin Elodie Li Yuk Lo (born September 29, 1982 in Port Louis ) is a Mauritian beach volleyball player .

Career

Li Yuk Lo left her homeland for Canada to study at the University of Toronto . From 2001 to 2006 she played in the university's volleyball team as a libero. In addition to sports, she works as a teacher for biology and sports at a secondary school in Toronto . In 2008 she wanted to form a beach volleyball duo with her friend Marjorie Nadal. Nadal declined the offer, but arranged the contact with Natacha Rigobert , who lives in France and was just on vacation in Mauritius. Rigobert and Li Yuk Lo then met in France and agreed to play as a duo in the sand in the future. They made their first international appearance in the same year at the Kristiansand Open. In 2009 they completed their first Grand Slam in Klagenfurt and played at the open tournament in Stare Jabłonki . After a few more tournaments in 2010, they entered the 2011 World Cup in Rome , where they did not win a set. In 2012 they played five Grand Slams. At the Continental Cup of CAVB they qualified for the Olympic Games in London . There they met in the preliminary round against the German participants Katrin Holtwick and Ilka Semmler .
