Eloy José Arenas Azorín (born February 19, 1977 in Madrid ) is a Spanish actor .

He was born in 1977 to the comedian Eloy Arenas . He had his first acting role in Miguel Hermosos Como un relámpago , where he played the lead role alongside Santiago Ramos and Assumpta Serna . At that time, he decided to take up acting professionally.

After small supporting roles in television series, he gained notoriety through his portrayal in Pedro Almodóvar's multiple award-winning Everything About My Mother . There he played the youngster Esteban , who, without knowing anything about his father, lived alone with his mother (played by Cecilia Roth ) in Madrid and died on his 18th birthday. From then on, his career took off. Azorín had roles in the romantic film Aunque tú no lo sepas (2000), in the Goya award-winning tragic comedy Besos para todos (2000) alongside Emma Suárez and in the period film Juana la Loca (2001). InDaniel Calparsoros war drama Guerreros he took on the lead role. A release of the film Los Borgia , directed by Antonio Hernández, is planned for 2006 , where he will appear as the Spanish prince Jofré Borgia .

In 2004 he made his debut as a theater actor as Dorian in the play The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde .
