Assumpta Serna

Assumpta Serna (born September 16, 1957 in Barcelona ; actually Assumpta Rodés i Serna ) is a Spanish actress and author .

Life

Serna dropped out of law school in Barcelona and devoted himself to acting.

Serna was married to actor Carlos Tristancho from 1982 to 1985. In 1993 she married her acting colleague Scott Cleverdon , with whom she founded the company "first team" in 2005 , which offers acting courses in several countries. She was the representative of Spain in the European Film Academy and organized the European Film Award 2004 in Barcelona . She is a member of the non-profit organization AISGE ( Artistas, Intérpretes, Sociedad de Gestión ), which deals with the protection of intellectual property in the audiovisual sector.

Works

Assumpta is the author of two books on acting-interpretation techniques: "El trabajo del actor de cine" and "Monologues in VO" .
