Elsbeth Montzheimer
Elsbeth Montzheimer (born April 5, 1858 in Berlin , † September 10, 1926 in Rahden , Westphalia) was a German writer .
Elsbeth Montzheimer, who also wrote under the pseudonym "Erika Hellinger", published "Drops from the Märchenborn" in 1903 and "Märchen" in 1923 (reprinted in 1926 after her death).
In the fairy tales The Grateful Heinzelmännchen, Der Erdbeerkönig, Springmännchen und Goldenfasan, The wild Marinka, Pansy and The Queen's Harp, the characters often speak in poetry.
Elsbeth Montzheimer lived in Arnstadt , Bückeburg , Bad Oeynhausen and Rahden (Westphalia) , among others .
The fairy tales were reissued in 2003 by Harald Rösler at the Federal Publishing House for German Writing and Language . Like the first editions, they appeared in Fraktur.
