Else Bierau

Elisabeth Lina Anna called Else Bierau, born Schrimpf (born April 5, 1877 in Meiches , † October 1, 1966 in Darmstadt ) was a Hessian politician ( German People's Party ) and a former member of the Landtag of the People's State of Hesse in the Weimar Republic .

Else Bierau was the daughter of the church council and Protestant pastor Valentin Schrimpf and his wife Emilie nee Schudt. Else Bierau married the chief tax inspector Ludwig Bierau (* 1860; † April 2, 1902) in Butzbach on September 26, 1899.

Else Bierau lived as a housewife in Darmstadt and was a member of various municipal committees and the Evangelical Women's Association. For the DVP she was elected to the state parliament, to which she belonged in the first election period from 1919 to 1921. She belonged to the Confessing Church .
