Else Yeo
Else Yeo (born April 5, 1920 in Cologne ; † 2016 ) was a music teacher and historian. She lived in Leverkusen .
Life
Yeo studied at the music teacher seminar in Cologne with a major in singing. At the same time she received training in church music. As a music teacher, she worked in several schools as well as privately. She worked as a guitarist and program designer for the NWDR , folk music department.
In 1962 Yeo became a member of the Musicalische Academie zu Burscheid from 1812 , whose founder was Jacob Salentin von Zuccalmaglio . She came as the orchestra's archivist with the founder's documents for her further research on the members of the Zuccalmaglio family. She dedicated a total of nine books and several individual writings to this topic. In addition, she gave numerous lectures on various individual topics.
