The Elton Oil Company is a leading non-governmental pan-African oil companies in the West African countries Gambia (as Elton Oil Company (Gambia) Ltd. ) and Senegal (as Elton Oil ).
Their products and services, the purely African company, are not limited to the traditional services of a petrol station chain with a supermarket. The services of a car repair shop and car wash are also offered. In addition, the gas stations offer a restaurant and an internet café as a service.
The company names Castrol as an international partner .
The first branch was opened in Senegal in July 2001. Since then, the sales network has expanded to 31 branches, including 18 petrol stations. More than 400 people are employed in Senegal. The Senegalese market share is given as more than ten percent, the market share in Gambia is a quarter. With the Castrol brand, Elton is also represented in the markets of Guinea , Mali and Ivory Coast .
