Elvir Selmanovic (born November 5, 1978 in Kappeln ) is a Serbian handball trainer and former handball player .

Career

Elvir Selmanovic played in the 2003/04 season at HSC Landwehrhagen , who had been promoted to the second division , after he previously played for the regional division VfL Bad Schwartau . In 2004 he switched to league competitor LTV Wuppertal , and from 2006 played at Bergische HC , which was formed from the merger of LTV with SG Solingen . Since 2009, the 1.89 meter tall backcourt player has been under contract with TV Emsdetten , with whom he was promoted to the first division in 2013. After the 2013/14 season, TVE parted ways with Selmanovic. He then joined the league club Sportfreunde Loxten. In the summer of 2017 he ended his playing career for health reasons and became a coach at the regional league team Spvg Versmold, with whom he successfully held the class in the following two seasons.
