Elxan Əliqulizadə
Elxan Əliqulizadə (also Elkhan Aligulizada ; born February 4, 1995 ) is an Azerbaijani weightlifter .
Career
He won bronze in a duel and gold in pushing at the European Youth Championships in 2011. He was fourth at the 2012 Youth World Championships. In 2013 Əliqulizadə took part in the Universiade in Shenzhen , where he was twelfth in the class up to 77 kg. At the Junior European Championships in the same year he was first. However, he had tested positive for dehydrochloromethyltestosterone during a training check a week earlier , so that he was subsequently disqualified and banned for two years. After his suspension, he reached sixth place in a duel at the 2015 World Championships in Houston and won silver in the push, where he set a new junior world record with 203 kg.
