Emanuele Catarinicchia
Emanuele Catarinicchia (born July 12, 1926 in Partinico , Province of Palermo , Italy ) is Bishop Emeritus of Mazara del Vallo .
biography
Emanuele Catarinicchia was ordained a priest on April 2, 1949.
On November 11th, 1978 he was appointed Bishop of Cefalù by Pope John Paul II . He was ordained episcopal on December 17th of the same year by Cardinal Sebastiano Baggio , Prefect of the Congregation for Bishops . On December 7, 1987 he was appointed bishop of Mazara del Vallo , which he remained until his retirement on November 15, 2002.
