Emanuil A. Vidinski

Emanuil A. Vidinski (born June 27, 1978 in Widin , Bulgaria ) is a Bulgarian writer , musician and journalist .

Life

Vidinski graduated from the German grammar school in Sofia and visited Germany after graduation (1997). After four years he returned and studied Slavic and German at the University of Sofia (1997–2002).

In 2004 he founded the ethnic rock band Gologan with two other Bulgarian writers and was the band's drummer until 2006 . He was the music editor of the literary newspaper (2005/2006), publisher in the publishing house “Altera” (2007–2009) and editor in the Bulgarian editorial office of Deutsche Welle in Bonn (2008–2012). Together with the poet Petar Tchouhov, he founded the rock band Par Avion Band in 2013. Since September 2019 he has been editor of the literary newspaper in Sofia.
