Emel Etem Toschkowa ( Bulgarian : Емел Етем Тошкова, born March 4, 1958 in Isperich , Razgrad Oblast , Bulgaria ) is a Bulgarian politician of Turkish descent. She is the current Minister for National Affairs in the Bulgarian Government and Vice Prime Minister. She represents the party Movement for Rights and Freedoms .

Life

In 1981 she obtained a master's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Ruse and then worked as an engineer until 1992.

She has held her current government office since August 17, 2005.
