Emil Faber

Emil Faber (born June 27, 1861 in Küstrin , † June 15, 1930 in Frankfurt (Oder) ) was a master shoemaker and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Faber came from Küstrin to Frankfurt (Oder) in 1872 and was elected to the local city council for the first time in 1908.

From September 1910 to 1912 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency Frankfurt 4 ( Frankfurt (Oder) , Lebus ) and the SPD .

In November 1918 he became second chairman of the Frankfurt Workers' and Soldiers Council and in March 1919 first deputy chairman of the Frankfurt city council. From 1919 to 1921 he was a member of the constituent Prussian state assembly and until his death a member of the state parliament (Free State of Prussia) .
