Emil Freshness
Emil Freshness (born February 6, 1872 in Düsseldorf , † after 1916) was a German painter of everyday scenes and still lifes .
As the son of the landscape painter Heinrich Ludwig Freshness , Emil Freshness grew up in Düsseldorf. Like his father, he attended the art academy there as a master student of Claus-Meyer .
Emil Freshness, who stayed in Florence for a longer period of time, painted genre pictures, portraits , interiors and preferred still lifes. His older brother was the sculptor Arnold Freshness .
