Emil Haas

Emil Haas (born July 28, 1903 in Neitersen ; † March 15, 1977 in Altenkirchen (Westerwald) ) was a German civil servant and politician ( SPD ).

Life

Haas attended the teachers' seminar and after graduating from high school, studied history, German and economic geography. He completed his studies with the state examination and the doctorate to Dr. phil. in economic and legal history. He then worked first in the school service and then in the agricultural administration, where he became an agricultural councilor. 1937–1945 he was department head at the regional farmers 'union Westmark in Kaiserslautern, regional training officer for the regional farmers' union Westmark and 1943 regional training speaker. After 1945 he was managing director of the Altenkirchen farmers' association.

In 1932 Haas became a member of the NSDAP . From 1933 to 1934 he was active in the German Christian Movement as chairman within the community. In 1933 he became a member of the NSLB and there until 1934 sub-department head of student council 4. From 1934 he was a member of the NSV and in 1937 became section chairman . The clean-up proposal of the Altenkirchen investigative committee of March 16, 1948 read: Followers and 3000 RM fine, compensated for by loss of earnings and loss of all belongings.

In 1950 he became mayor of the Altenkirchen office and mayor of the city of Altenkirchen and in 1952 a member of the district council and district committee Altenkirchen, where he was also the parliamentary group chairman.

In 1959 he was elected to the fourth state parliament of Rhineland-Palatinate in constituency 1 , to which he belonged for two electoral terms until 1967. In the state parliament he was a member of the agricultural policy committee and cultural policy committee.
