Emil Maier (painter)
Emil Maier-Fürstenfeld (also Emil Maier-F .; * October 7, 1935 in Fürstenfeld, Bessarabia ; † December 25, 2011 ) was a German illustrator , painter and graphic artist . He illustrated numerous children's books and children's Bibles in the publishing house Katholisches Bibelwerk , Auer Verlag u. a. The books have been translated into 26 languages worldwide. In addition, the artist created oil paintings , woodcuts , church windows and wall designs.
