Emil Némethy
Emil Némethy (born February 17, 1867 in Arad , Arad County , † November 6, 1943 in Budapest ) was a Hungarian aviation pioneer .
Emil Némethy studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Budapest . From 1897 he ran the paper mill in Arad. His motorized hang glider , constructed around 1900 - the "Flugrad Némethy" - never flew, but helped him to develop two important theories, which he published in 1903.
