Emil Sandin (born February 28, 1988 in Uppsala ) is a Swedish ice hockey player who has been under contract with Rögle BK in HockeyAllsvenskan since 2011 .

Career

Emil Sandin began his career as a hockey player in the youth of Brynäs IF , in which he went through all junior categories, before making his debut in the Elitserien for Brynäs professional team in the 2007/08 season . The winger recorded four assists in 19 games in his rookie year . He was then selected in the NHL Entry Draft 2008 in the seventh round as a total of 199th player by the Ottawa Senators . Initially, however, the left-handed shooter stayed with Brynäs IF, for whom he scored 17 scorer points, including six goals, in a total of 57 games in his first full professional season in the 2008/09 season .

For the 2011/12 season Sandin was committed by Rögle BK from HockeyAllsvenskan , the second Swedish division.
