Emil Ungerer
Emil Ungerer (born April 6, 1888 in Pforzheim ; † April 7, 1976 in Karlsruhe ) was a German botanist and philosopher of biology.
Life
Ungerer received his doctorate in 1918 from the University of Heidelberg (The Plant Restitutions). He was a senior teacher in Karlsruhe and had the title of professor.
He dealt with philosophical questions in biology, for example with Immanuel Kant and vitalism . He was a representative of the organism .
