Emil Voerster

Ludwig Emil Voerster (born August 21, 1829 in Mannheim , † December 2, 1892 in Oderin ) was a German administrative officer and manor owner .

Life

Emil Voerster studied at the University of Bonn law . In 1849 he became a member of the Corps Guestphalia Bonn . After completing his studies, he entered the Prussian civil service. In 1858 he became district administrator of the district of Hagen . After ten years, he went to Heide in 1868 as the first district administrator of the newly established Norderdithmarschen district . In 1870 he was appointed district administrator of the Pinneberg district. He held the office until 1881. After leaving civil service, he lived on his manor Oderin.
