Emil Zöllner

Emil Zöllner (born March 23, 1879 in Dresden , † December 11, 1948 in Meißen ) was a German teacher and writer.

Life

Zöllner first taught at the girls' college and then as a teacher at the gymnasium in Meissen. He researched specifically the Elbe, about which he wrote a book and which he captured in numerous photographs. Hence he was nicknamed the Elbe customs officer . His estate is now kept in the main state archive in Dresden .
