Emile Ratelband

Emile Albert Rudolf Ratelband (born March 11, 1949 in Arnhem ) is a Dutch motivational speaker and former politician of the Leefbaar Nederland party . Some associate him with his exclamation Tsjakkaa! .

Life

Emile Ratelband is the son of a baker and a nurse of Chinese-Indonesian origin. He worked as a baker, textile dealer and operator of a poffertjes chain. and got to know Anthony Robbins book Unlimited Power and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) at the Expo 86 in Vancouver . Ratelband was then successful with NLP courses in the Netherlands.

From October 1998 until it was discontinued in March 1999 Ratelband moderated 13 episodes of the show Tsjakkaa! You can make it on RTL 2 . By 2016 he had published twelve books. He spoke the intro of the album NLP by the Berlin rap crew MOR around Kool Savas .

In 2018 Ratelband sued the municipality of Arnhem to change his year of birth from 1949 to 1969. This corresponds to his physical condition, and a civil change of the name and sex in the birth register is also permitted. In addition, with the year of birth 1949, he had to fear age discrimination. Gelderland's legal bank dismissed the lawsuit on December 3, 2018 in the first instance as unfounded.
