Emilia Ankiewicz (born November 22, 1990 in Elbląg ) is a Polish athlete who specializes in the 400-meter hurdles.

Career

At the 2015 Summer Universiade in Gwangju , Korea , she won the silver medal behind her compatriot Joanna Linkiewicz , but she could not qualify for the World Championships in Beijing. In June 2016, Emilia Ankiewicz achieved eighth place in the final of the 2016 European Athletics Championships . She improved throughout the season and reached a semi-finals position in the Olympics . In the preliminary round, she set a new personal best.

Ankiewicz studies at the Akademia Wychowania Fizycznego Józefa Piłsudskiego w Warszawie .
