The Emilio Comici Hut (Italian Rifugio Emilio Comici ) is a refuge in the Dolomites .
Location and surroundings
The cottage is located on 2154 m altitude at the foot of the Sassolungo in the ski resort Plan de Gralba in Selva in Val Gardena ( South Tyrol , Italy ).
It can be easily reached on foot from the Sella Pass by walking through the stone city . It is located on the Friedrich-August-Weg, which enables you to circumnavigate the Langkofel group .
history
The hut is named after the Italian mountaineer Emilio Comici , who opened a new route for climbing the Sassolungo nearby.
It is open all year round and is a popular stop for skiers in winter.
