Emilio de Souza Strapasson (born January 17, 1977 ) is a Brazilian skeleton athlete .

Emilio Strapasson lives in Pelotas . He started skeleton in 2002 and has been competing in international races since 2003. His first international race was in January 2003 in Königssee in the European Cup , which he did not finish. It was only in December 2003 , he played in Park City as part of the America's Cup more international races and has been there twice 21. By 2009, more missions followed in these two racing series as well as in Skeleton Challenge Cup . In the America's Cup, Strapasson could not improve his results during this period, in the European Cup a 26th place in 2005 in Igls was his best result. In February 2009 Strapasson competed for the first time in a race in the Intercontinental Cup . In Igls and then in Königssee he finished 28th. Since then, the Brazilian has been able to improve steadily in his performance. In the America's Cup he improved his performance in April 2009 in Lake Placid to a 13th place. In the Intercontinental Cup he achieved a 16th place in the same place in January 2011 . The reward for his steadily better performance was a nomination for the 2011 Skeleton World Championship in Königssee, where he finished 30th.
