Emma Hardelin
Emma Härdelin (born September 26, 1975 ) is a Swedish folk musician .
Life
She is the daughter of the folk fiddler Thore Härdelin and comes from a family of well-known Swedish folk musicians. Emma Härdelin grew up in Kluk in Jämtland and Delsbo in Hälsingland . She learned traditional Swedish singing in the Folkhögskola of Malung under Maria Röjås .
In 1993 she became the permanent lead singer of the Swedish folk rock band Garmarna . Emma Härdelin has also been a member of the folk music trio Triakel since 1995 . She was also involved in various projects. As a solo performer, she released the single Innan Gryningen in 1999 , which was composed by ABBA musician Benny Andersson and the text of which comes from the Swedish writer Ylva Eggehorn . In 2004 she sang as a guest musician on the album About a Burning Fire by the band Blindside . In 2005 she recorded the album Kärleksbrev och ryska satelliter: Visor i Hälsingland together with Kersti Ståbi , Johanna Bölja Hertzberg and Katarina Hallberg . She was also involved in the Swedish folk music album Strand ... Rand - Folk Chorales and Songs From the West Coast of Estonia . In 2007 the String Sisters album Live was released , on which Emma Härdelin had also participated.
