Emma Seehofer
Emma Seehofer (* before 1854; † 1912 in Mannheim ) was a German opera singer ( alto ).
Life
Seehofer sang at the Bavarian State Opera from 1854 to 1887 . At the world premiere of Richard Wagner's Das Rheingold on September 22, 1869, she played the role of Erda and at the world premiere of Wagner's Die Walküre on June 26, 1870 in the role of Walküre Schwertleite . The German Stage Yearbook 1904 listed her as a court opera singer. Most recently she worked as a singing teacher in Munich.
