The station building of the train station in Balingen , the district town of the Zollernalb district in Baden-Württemberg , was built in 1911. The reception building is a protected cultural monument .

The one to two-storey, plastered group building with a central risalit , bay windows , crooked hip roofs and gable roofs as well as a platform roofing was built according to plans by the architect W. Fuchs from Stuttgart.

After the renovation of the station, which was carried out by private investors from 2016, the rooms are shared by the Café la Gare , the Hotel Bahnhof Balingen , the DB agency and the e-bike / bicycle station. During the renovation, the historic stucco ceiling elements and the eucalyptus parquet were exposed again in today's café .
