Energy (formerly Energy Digital ) is a private radio broadcaster from Berlin and belongs to the French NRJ Group . Since it started broadcasting on August 1, 2011, it has been broadcasting via DAB + and web radio stream. The transmitter is part of the DAB + Bundesmux, which was also launched on August 1, 2011, and can be received via channel 5c (= 178.3 MHz). A DAB + -compatible radio or a DAB + -compatible USB stick is required for reception via DAB +.

Energy Digital initially broadcast unmoderated music tracks in rotation. These were interrupted by news once an hour at night and every 30 minutes during the day. In addition, moderated best-of programs from other German NRJ stations were interspersed in the program. The station also broadcast the NRJ Euro Hot 30 on Saturdays from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. , a best-of of the hits from all European energy stations. From 2012 the station only broadcast music that was occasionally interrupted by energy sections such as the "Energy DVD tip" or "The last secrets of mankind". The station's playlist is updated every Thursday with new, current songs.

Since the beginning of 2016, Energy Digital has changed its program due to the success of DAB +. There is now a full moderated program from Monday to Sunday. This comes from Berlin. News run there Monday through Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Messages are sent every half hour.
