Energy Murambadoro (born June 27, 1982 ) is a Zimbabwean football goalkeeper.

Career

Murambadoro initially played for CAPS in his home country before moving to South Africa for Hellenic FC in 2003. Only a year later he tried his hand at the cup winner Hapoel Bnei Sachnin in Israel . He played in the first round match in the UEFA Cup against Newcastle United , but lost 7-1 with his team without a chance. In 2005 he returned to CAPS United Harare. On October 20, 2012, he and 15 other national players were suspended for 10 years for game manipulation.

In 2014 he was able to continue his career. He has been playing for AmaZulu Durban since 2015 .

National team

Murambadoro took part with the Zimbabwean national team in the 2004 and 2006 African Cups. Both times he failed with his team in the preliminary round, with only two appearances in the final tournament in 2004. In qualifying for the 2006 World Cup, however, Murambadoro was a regular player and was on the field in eight of the twelve qualifying games.
