Founded in 1990 in Taiwan , Enermax Technology Corporation is a manufacturer of PC power supplies, cases, fans, keyboards, and other peripherals.

The company, which has been listed in Taiwan since 2004, has subsidiaries in Germany , France , Italy , the USA , Japan and China with a total of around 500 employees. Enermax operates its own research and design centers as well as production at two locations. The German branch has been managed by Tom Chang since 2008. Enermax sells its products under its own brand as well as in the ODM and OEM markets.

In March 2003, Enermax opened its German subsidiary under the name Coolergiant Computers Handels GmbH in the Hamburg district of Billbrook . She coordinates sales and marketing activities, logistics, customer service and technical support in Europe. Enermax Germany is responsible for technical customer service and support in Germany and Austria . The German branch has been managed by general manager Chris Tang since 2012.

Products

The company is best known for PC power supplies , so Enermax was one of the first manufacturers of power supplies with an output of more than one kW . All power supplies in the current range have the 80 PLUS energy saving seal or higher.

In addition, Enermax supports the international Climate Savers Computing Initiative , a non-profit association of consumers, industry and environmental organizations that aims to improve efficiency and reduce energy consumption. The Aurora keyboards received the red dot design award in 2007 , and in 2008 an external hard drive housing received the IF Product Design Award .
