Forms of representation
Talking is z. B. the coat of arms of the political municipality Engelberg (canton Obwalden in Switzerland). The depiction of the angel differs from other figures by having wings on a person's back. The angel is popular in the coat of arms and as a shield holder and the description of the coat of arms clarifies the type of angel (example archangel ). The floating or the standing representation of the angel is possible. Often an angel also holds a cross or other objects.
