Engel Berta "Eta" Kaize (born July 5, 1971 ) is an Indonesian beach volleyball player .

Career

Eta played their first international tournaments in 1995 with Ni Putu Timy Yudhani Rahayu . After a 13th place in Rio de Janeiro and four Open tournaments, which they finished in 17th place, they came in ninth in the top ten for the first time at the Bali Open. In 1996 they finished the tournaments of the World Tour again in 13th or 17th place. They also qualified for the Olympic Games in Atlanta . There they prevailed against teams from Canada and Mexico in a preliminary round. In the first game of the main round they had to admit defeat to the later Olympic champions Sandra Pires and Jackie Silva from Brazil. With another defeat against the Japanese Fujita / Takahashi, they were eliminated and finished the tournament in 13th place.

In the further course of the 1996 World Tour, Timy / Eta finished seventh in Osaka and Busan . In 1997 they reached 13th place at the same tournaments. They then took part in the World Championships in Los Angeles and reached 17th place there.

In 1998 Eta played the Dalian Open with Risma Siswardini . In 2002 she entered the Madrid Open again with her old partner Timy. On the World Tour she was only active at the Bali Open 2003 and 2005.
