English River is a so-called ghaut ( gut ), an ephemeral body of water similar to a Fiumara , in St. Kitts , in the Caribbean island state of St. Kitts and Nevis .
geography
The river has its source in the South East Range to the south of St. Kitts. It closes off the Trinity area in Saint Thomas Middle Island to the east. It runs south and soon flows into its own small river delta , which is a landmark of Palmetto Bay .
