Enric Masip Borràs (born September 1, 1969 in Barcelona ) is a former Spanish handball player , who was mostly used in the position of the middle back , and today's handball official.

career

Masip's jersey in the Hall of Fame at Palau Blaugrana

From 1987 to 1990 Masip played for BM Granollers before moving to neighboring FC Barcelona . He stayed with the team for a total of 14 years until the end of his career in 2004. For the Spanish national team , he played 205 international matches and scored 656 goals. He had to end his career because of serious back problems. From 2006 to 2013 he was Sporting Director of the Catalans.

His jersey is linked to that of six other FC Barcelona players at the Palau Blaugrana in the Hall of Fame .
