The ensemble Admiral Hipper-Straße in Weilheim in Upper Bavaria , the county seat of Upper Bavaria district Weilheim-Schongau , is an architectural ensemble , under monument stands.

It includes the former Obertorgasse (since 1915 Admiral-Hipper-Straße, named after Franz von Hipper , who was born in Weilheim ), one of the three main axes of the city, which was planned in the 13th century. This leads from the east side of Marienplatz eastwards to the Obertor, which was demolished in 1872 and where the new town hall has stood since 1936. The street widens in a funnel shape towards the old town . In the western part of this square-like opening is the free-standing block of the four town houses on Apothekergasse, which divides the axis on the one hand towards Marienplatz and on the other hand towards the former nursing home in Hofgasse.

The closed development of the ensemble has mainly three-storey gabled houses from the mid-19th century, most of which have been converted into commercial buildings. The plaster facades are often structured. Buildings 9, 11 and 13 form an eaves house group, which is characterized by flat bay windows . Building No. 11 also stands on the site of the oldest town hall, which was closed in 1538.
