The Meinheim ensemble comprises the historically built-up area of Meinheim , a municipality in the Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district in Central Franconia . The ensemble is a protected architectural monument .

The ensemble comprises the main street of the parish village , which was laid out on a brook entering the Altmühl and developed into a brook anger village in the late Middle Ages . The street village stretches on both sides of the open-flowing brook that was created in 1962.
The townscape rural character determine lined up on both sides of the creek farms in Dreiseit- and hook shape . The older farmhouses of the 18th and 19th centuries Century are mostly one-storey, the younger since the end of the 19th century two-storey, predominantly gable-oriented saddle roof buildings .
The parish church of St. Wunibald with its late Gothic pointed helm tower in the east is positioned on the east-west flowing stream that it dominates the townscape.
