The ensemble of St. Anne Street in Burggen , a town in Upper Bavaria Weilheim-Schongau , is an architectural ensemble , under monument stands. The ensemble encompasses the entire development of St.-Anna-Straße from the intersection with Füssener Straße to the end of the street where Obere Dorfstraße branches off.

description

The planned layout of St.-Anna-Straße is reflected in the consistent orientation of all farms with the gable facing east and the return or the hooked head facing south. This is the result of the reconstruction after the great fire in 1795. Attention was paid to the distances between the properties and the uniform orientation.

In its building stock, the street shows a notable cluster of northeast Allgäu farmhouses with flat gable roofs over elevated knee sticks with St. Andrew's crosses . The younger properties, which were renovated in the 19th century, are returning, while the older ones are Hakenschopf.
