Eoin Mullen (born August 6, 1993 in Kilronan ) is an Irish track cyclist .

Athletic career

In 2011 Eoin Mullen became Irish Sprint Champion in his age group . With this victory the Irish cycling association Cycling Ireland became aware of him and sent him to Aigle for a training session at the World Cycling Center . In the same year Mullen started at the European Junior Track Championships and the 2011 UCI Track World Championships in Moscow , where he was fifth in the 1000 meter time trial and seventh in the sprint. Over 1000 meters he set a new Irish junior record, over the 200 meters with a flying start a new Irish men's record.

In 2013 Mullen was a three-time Irish champion, in the sprint , keirin and team sprint (with Eoin Healy and Keith Meghan ). 2014 he won at the UEC European Championships track on the Velódromo Nacional in Portuguese Sangalhos the bronze medal in the sprint. In 2014 he won two national titles and in 2016 all four in the short term. In 2018 and 2019 he won further national titles.
