Epiphany Church (Münster)
The Epiphany Church is a church of the Evangelical Redeemer Congregation in Münster . It was built from 1961 to 1963 based on a design by Hanns Hoffmann and inaugurated in June 1963.
architecture
The church is a central church in the form of a transverse space with a shifted center. It has 400 seats, which are set up in a semicircle around the altar , pulpit and baptismal font . Above the entrance there is a gallery made of exposed concrete on which the organ stands and a further 50 seats are arranged.
The 34 meter high tower is set up separately from the church. It has an octagonal floor plan and houses five bells that were cast in 1963 by the Rincker bell foundry. They have the beat notes f ', g', b ', c "and d".
organ
The organ was built in 1968 by Gustav Steinmann Orgelbau (Vlotho). The slider chests -instrument has 19 registers on two manuals and pedal . The playing and stop actions are mechanical.
