Earth statics

Earth statics are the calculation methods for the behavior of the soil as a building material and for the soil as a load on buildings , or in other words the statics of the soil.

The term earth statics is mostly mentioned in connection with soil mechanics and the foundation . Soil mechanics is the theoretical basis of earth statics, and earth statics is the prerequisite for the foundation, building in the ground. These areas merge at their borders. The calculation and dimensioning methods listed below appear again in the foundation.
