Eren Taskin (born August 26, 1992 in Duisburg ) is a German soccer player of Azerbaijani descent. He plays for SG Wattenscheid 09 in the Regionalliga West .

Career

In his childhood, Taskin moved to the youth department of MSV Duisburg at an early age . For the 2003/04 season he moved to FC Schalke 04 . Between 2006 and 2009 he played for Rot-Weiss Essen . After good performances, he moved back to FC Schalke 04 and played there in the U-19 Bundesliga . At the age of 19 he was allowed to play for the 2nd team of the Royal Blues. For the 2012/13 season he then changes to the second line-up of MSV Duisburg, which was relegated this season. Therefore, he moved to his current club Fortuna Düsseldorf for the 2013/14 season , where he was allowed to play 16 times for the 2nd team in the Regionalliga West in the current season . He scored eight goals and set up five more. Due to these strong performances, he was appointed to the professional team. Taskin made his professional debut on December 22, 2013, on the 19th matchday of the 2nd Bundesliga, when he came on for Oliver Fink in the 46th minute . Fortuna Düsseldorf lost the game against 1. FC Köln 2: 3. After the season, Taskin left the club and moved to SG Wattenscheid 09 .
