“Experience Germany” is the name of a nationwide initiative that provides medium-sized and group-oriented companies with the expert knowledge of former managers from a wide variety of industries. "Experience Germany" sees itself as a personnel and management consultancy that has set itself the goal of supporting companies in the context of generation management and demographic change through knowledge management and transfer. Furthermore, ED supports and advises on human resources and risk management . The owner is Andreas Schwab.

The initiative was founded in March 2005 in the legal form of a limited liability company (GmbH) under the name "ED - Society for Expert Knowledge mbH" . The motive for founding - as a consequence of the demographic change of our time - was the realization that new concepts of knowledge recruitment were necessary and that qualifications , motivation and work productivity are not age-dependent.

The placement of such senior experts in early retirement or retirement is not about returning to the first job market , but about the temporary and freelance assignment of these specialists and managers as interim managers to solve acute problems ( crisis management ), to establish new products and Sales markets or across the board for temporary “support” to corporate management.

Some 9,000 specialists and managers aged 55+ from all industries and business functions have been in the online - database to register free of charge for a mediation.

The main shareholder until 2012 was the Nestor Group, Berlin. In 2012, the personnel consultant Andreas Schwab bought the company, restructured it and realigned it into 3 business areas:

  1. Interim management: Placement of senior experts, approx. 9000 senior experts, active and former specialists and executives from all industries and functions, generation management, knowledge management.
  2. HR Consulting: Personnel recruitment, recruiting coaching, talent scouting, personnel marketing, new placement

ED Experience Germany advises and supports as a strategic partner with interdisciplinary project teams worldwide with over 30 HR specialists group-oriented and medium-sized companies in the areas of interim management (placement of senior experts), HR consulting (personnel recruitment, recruiting coaching, generation management) and risk management.

Professors Hans Bauer and Walter A. Oechsler from the University of Mannheim and Uwe Kleinemas from the University of Bonn formed the scientific advisory board.
