Eric Åkerlund

Eric Åkerlund (* 1943 in Gävle ) is a Swedish writer and teacher.

Life

Åkerlund grew up in Hälsingland and lives in Hult, not far from Kisa . He made his debut as a poet in 1968 and since then has published not only poems but also novels and prose . He wrote about twenty radio and stage pieces, most recently for the radio play autumn series by Sveriges Radio in 2000. Together with the author Torgny Lindgren , he wrote the novel Döden ett bekymmer , which appeared in spring 2003 , in addition to radio and stage plays .
