Eric Erlandson

Eric T. Erlandson (born January 9, 1963 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American musician .

Erlandson played from its founding in 1989 as a guitarist with the rock band Hole around the singer Courtney Love . He was in a relationship with Kristen Pfaff , the band's bassist , until she died from a heroin overdose . He was also said to have a relationship with Drew Barrymore , the godmother of Frances Bean, the daughter of Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love.

Erlandson is now working as a studio musician. He appeared on the debut album by Melissa Auf der Maur , on the last album of the former Spice Girls Mel C or played with Fischerspooner . The practicing Buddhist also studies creative writing in Los Angeles .
