Eric Johansson (athlete)
Eric Johansson (later Umedalen; * February 10, 1904 , † February 22, 1972 ) was a Swedish hammer thrower .
At the European Athletics Championships in Oslo in 1946 , he won silver.
In 1946 he became Swedish champion. He set his personal best of 56.79 m on May 4, 1946 in Malmö . The following year his sporting career ended when a ban was imposed on him for tampering with his throwing device.
