Eric Lingens

Eric Lingens (born August 11, 1939 in Aachen ; † November 10, 2009 ) was a German lawyer . He was President of the Troop Service Court North and commentator on the Military Criminal Code .

Life

Lingens studied law and passed the first and second state law exams.

In 1967 he joined the administration of justice in the Bundeswehr (RPflegeBw). He initially worked as a legal advisor (RB) and military disciplinary attorney, later as a law teacher. In 1981 he was at the Technical University of Hannover with a thesis on the protection of life and health in the military service ratio, taking into account the requirement to maintain health for Dr. jur. PhD.

In 1986 he became a military service judge . From 1999 he was President of the Troop Service Court (TDG) Nord in Münster in Westphalia. Lingens was also a commentator on the Military Penal Code (WStGB) and author of numerous specialist articles.
