Erica McLain
Erica McLain (born January 24, 1986 in Columbus , Ohio ) is an American triple jumper .
In 2005 she went to the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki as a US champion , but was eliminated from the qualification.
In 2007 she became NCAA indoor champion and NCAA outdoor runner-up. The following year she won the NCAA title and qualified third in the US eliminations for the Beijing Olympic Games , but did not get beyond the preliminary round. In 2009 she became US runner-up and failed to qualify for the World Cup in Berlin . In 2010 she became US champion and eighth in the Athletics Continental Cup in Split .
